Investment & Compatibility QA
My Role:
- QA - Investment & Compatibility on the Warmind, Forsaken, Black Armory, and Joker's Wild expansions/seasons as well as Destiny: Guardians, the release of Destiny 2 in Korea
- Owned testing of core investment, pursuit, and reward-based systems to ensure player time is rewarded correctly
- Utilized in-house tools to test quest scripts, loot drops, and other investment systems
- Provided detailed gameplay, balance, and tuning feedback to promote satisfying progression curves
- Collaborated with Designers and Engineers to analyze and give feedback on newly added features
- Tested computer hardware against the game client to ensure performance and usability for the player
- Identified high-risk content and facilitated playtests with QA to gather performance analytics and player feedback
